A mass text or call to everyone who has parking charged to their room seems like an easy thing to do.Guests are required to show a photo identification and credit card upon check-in. I understand this is a minor inconvenience but communication earlier in the day could’ve really made this a better experience. If we had known parking was going to be an issue last night we would’ve held off on ordering dinner until we got to the hotel. By time we parked and got back to the hotel our dinner we had ordered prior to the parking fiasco was cold and soggy. We drove a quarter mile to the new parking garage, which was also completely full and had to circle for close to 15 minutes to find a spot. When we got to the garage to park we were handed a map and told to park elsewhere. No warning or anything earlier in the day that as a paying guest we would have to park elsewhere. The last night of our stay the garage was completely full due to an event. Please know that parking is $50 a night and there may or may not be a spot for you to park. My only real complaint the whole trip is about parking. Late check out was not available and their shower room has not reopened because of Covid, if you have a late night flight this is a downside. A fresh coat of paint could really spruce up the room. The rooms are decent and the views are great. The location is fantastic and you’re pretty much within walking distance to everything. I didn’t expect that as most people don’t go that extra mile to help someone they would just point in the general direction. One of the workers walked a long distance with me, to show me the way around the pool and onto the beach. On my first morning, I needed help locating the entrance to the beach. It was perfect to sip on while enjoying the ocean view from my balcony. I really enjoyed the iced Hawaiian lattes. There wasn’t much of a line or wait at the times I went. Honolulu coffee company is right around the corner from the elevators. I also thought the location of this hotel was perfect for my introverted personality. Closet space was quite small but I don’t utilize storage space in hotel rooms. There was a separate dressing table which was very useful when I was drying my hair. ![]() ![]() Check in was a breeze and the woman who helped me was incredibly sweet. I will be staying here for future Waikiki visits. This was my first time staying at this hotel in Waikiki and I loved it. Then wait another hour at the mail and key line to find out that our room was not ready. Not only you can’t check in early, we had to wait 3 hours to be notified that our room was ready. Being a diamond member and could not get any member benefits when subscribed to the Hilton Grand vacation package was a total disappointment. The only cons are the front desk could have smile more and be friendlier. Although it looks real pricey, the portion size is decent and can be shared…what make up for the price is the view of the ocean and the food being served immediately piping hot. The fire work is beautiful and proximal that it feels 3D.īali at the waterfront for breakfast: the waitress I have was attentive, personable and made great suggestions. What is unique with this Hilton location is the fire work every Friday night at 8pm. This conglomerate of Hilton hotels bunched together creating a little shopping haven. Beautiful location with direct beach access.
